POLAR BEARS ARE 2025 CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to our U14/15 Division 1 Polar Bears, who defeated Gatton Redbacks 2–1 in today’s Grand Final at Clive Berghofer Stadium – claiming the Championship in their very first Toowoomba league season!

The Polars got off to a flying start when Shakur Condren finished from a pinpoint Ben Schmidt corner in the 12th minute. Gatton equalised in the 33rd with a well-timed through ball, but Chinchilla hit back quickly – another dangerous Schmidt corner, this time powered home by captain Darcy Shepherd, to restore the lead.

From there, the Polars took control of the game. They dominated possession, pushed relentlessly for a third goal, and kept Gatton pinned back. Every Redbacks surge forward was met by a wall of defence from the midfield and backline, and it was enough to secure the Polars the win.
